The course in O Grove
We offer two-,three- and four-week courses throughout the whole year (see separate leaflet), all of which include accommodation. If you want to really immerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture and wish to book for a longer period of time, it is also possible to combine two or more courses. 
The daily program consists of four 45 minute periods from Monday to Friday (except national bank holidays). Each group is comprised of a maximum of 8 students, so everyone can participate actively, while at the same time receiving individual attention.
A brief test on the first day enables us to ensure that each student is studying in a class which correctly corresponds to his or her knowledge of the language.
The teachers are all native speakers with academic training and extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
The schools offer classes at various different levels, which may of course be split into subdivisions if necessary. We also offer one to one personal classes in addition to, or instead of a normal course, and the possibility of special classes for groups with a similar ability who wish to study a specific topic (technical language, preparation for an exam, etc.). Please send us details of your needs and we will organize something suitable for your group. On completion of the course each student will receive the corresponding certificate of attendance.
LEVEL A
This course is intended for absolute beginners, offering an introduction to basic elements of the Spanish language. Communicative exercises involving role play and informal expressions are also taught to enable you to quickly use Spanish in everyday situations. 
LEVEL B
This level is for beginners with some previous knowledge. In these classes we study (or revise) elemental grammar and introduce the past tenses (imperfecto and indefinido). Emphasis is placed on the practice of everyday situations such as shopping, eating out, and asking directions, and authentic material such as easy newspaper articles, comics, songs and simple literature will also be used. Conversational practice will increase your confidence to take part in simple discussions.

LEVELS C & D
The learning of a language is closely associated with the culture, history, society, and politics of the country concerned. For this reason we will examine more complex texts, themes and teaching material in order to create an authentic picture of modern Spain (and to some extent Latin America). Humor, songs, lifestyles, culture, history, literature, film, sayings and idiomatic expressions and also students' suggestions all form part of the program. The development of conversational skills is of particular importance. You will learn to speak more confidently in a variety of situations. Level "C" is for more advanced students who can already hold a simple conversation. At this level we finish the study of basic grammar (including future and perfect tenses), and begin studying more difficult aspects such as the subjunctive tenses. At level "D" we revise and perfect use of previously studied tenses, study the subjunctive in more depth and work on conditional clauses.
LEVEL E
This level is designed for students who already dominate the fundamental structures of Spanish grammar but who nevertheless wish to improve their ability to communicate at a conversational level. The students will be able to discuss with the teachers the themes they would like to tackle. Typical grammatical problems common to non native speakers as well as the "perífrasis verbales" will be studied. You will therefore learn to express your ideas in a more precise manner, lending your Spanish a more authentic sound.
THE TEXTBOOKS
At lower levels we use either Español 2000 or Intercambio, both of which use a communicative approach and are specially designed for foreign students. They are not expensive and can be bought directly from the schools. For the higher levels textbooks are not used. Instead, authentic texts and specifically designed teaching material are used.
