By air from Madrid
You will arrive at the airport Madrid-Barajas. An express bus takes you directly from Madrid to Salamanca (bus company "AUTORES" · phone: Madrid #34-91-551 72 00, phone: Salamanca #34-923-23 22 66). Buses leave from the bus station "AUTORES" in Madrid, street Fernández Shaw 1, at only 50 m from the underground station Conde de Casal (see metro plan).
Departures (express): 08.00, 09.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00, 20.00, 21.00, 22.00 and 23.00 h.
Departures (normal): 08.30, 10.30, 13.30, 16.30, 17.30, 20.30, 21.30 and 22.30 h.
Duration: about 2 1/2 hours (express) and 3 hours (normal)

By public services with tube Nr. 8 from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios, change here to tube Nr. 6 to Méndez Álvaro,Estación Sur de Autobuses, (see metro plan)
By air from Valladolid
Valladolid is located just 115km from Salamanca and you can get very cheap flight to its airport, Villanubla, with Ryanair. From the airport you can take a taxi to go to the bus station. Buses leave from here to Salamanca bus-station every hour.
By car:
Take the motor way via San Sebastian, Burgos, Valladolid and Tordesillas to Salamanca.
