AIRPORT PICK UP
No matter what the hour of arrival, we take students to the host family at no extra cost. The airport is located half an hour by car from the host families or San José. When departing, students make transportation arrangements to the airport at their own expense.
INTERNET ACCESS, e-mail, faxes, and telephone
E-mail is available and students can use our computers to send and receive messages. At COSI students can send faxes, mail, make phone calls or surf the internet, at minimal cost. For international calls, we provide a list of numbers to call collect or you can pay for your call. Calling cards such as AT&T, MCI or Sprint are the best means to call home. Please, note that 1-800 numbers are charged in Costa Rica as an international phone call.
HEALTH INSURANCE
It is possible to obtain health insurance starting at $12 per month. This policy covers medical expenses due to accident or acute illness. In case you are interested in taking this policy, please let us know the first day of classes or at your earliest convenience.

TOURS
Through COSI you get very convenient discounts on tours to Costa Rica's main attractions. There are many travel options for the weekends or after classes. Our staff will be pleased to help you with hotel, tour or rent a car reservations and transportation arrangements. It is easy to go by bus to most National Parks. We have the public bus schedule and we buy the tickets in advance at no extra cost. Usually, COSI organizes tours in the afternoons and on weekends.
