Experience has proven the home stay to be an invaluable way to learn about Latin American culture on a personal level, and an important factor in mastering Spanish. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take advantage of the opportunity to live with a Mexican family. Through your daily interactions and deepening relationship with the family members, you will inevitably be provided with an excellent opportunity to improve your Spanish, while exploring firsthand the cultural context of the language, and embarking on new and enriching relationships.
Host family
The school arranges the students request, for private or shared rooms with Mexican families in and around Cuernavaca upon arrival. Meals are included if a student elects the home stay option, and the total cost for room and board is $18 - $24 US dollars per day. Students who prefer not to live with a Mexican family can receive further information on hotels from the school, but should expect to make their own reservations and arrangements.
